Members of the Committee on the History and Philosopy of Physics (CHPP) are appointed by the President and nominating committee. The only requirement for joining the CHPP is membership in the AAPT.
All AAPT members interested in the history and philosophy of physics are
encouraged to attend and participate in the CHPP meetings held at AAPT national
meetings, as well as become active in the CHPP's projects.
